About a month earlier, RIC edged the Goats in overtime 6-5, and history repeated itself on this Sunday night at the home of the Worcester Sharks. Once again, RIC squeaked by WPI in overtime, this time with the score of 5-4, due to goaltender John Sgambato’s 26 saves on 30 shots and Gregory Dicomitis game winning overtime goal. The goal was Dicomitis‘ eighth of the year, making him RIC’s 5th top scorer despite the injury suffered on 10/23 @ Brown, causing him to miss ten games. Tom Votta also announced his return to the squad with a power-play goal. Ariel Kurpiewski, Bo Atwell and Bobby Isabella also scored a goal each.
