Robert Isabella netted two, Dan Nadeau scored his 12th of the season, and Robert Atwell, J.P. Caparco, Rob Reall and Ariel Kurplewski each scored once as RIC buried former champions Daniel Webster College 7-0 at Conway Arena. Eric Moscarelli stopped all 37 shots faced for the first RIC shutout of the season. Nick Gannon and Seth Tobias finished the game with 3 assists and 2 assists respectively.

Rob Reall recorded a hat trick as RIC came from behind to notch a 6 to 5 nail biting victory over Coast Guard Academy on Nov. 20th. Captain Dan Nadeau scored a goal and had an assist, while Kyle Short and Seth Tobias also scored for the Anchormen. Goaltender Eric Moscarelli stopped 26 of 31 in the first two periods, while John Sgambato held Coast Guard scoreless in the third period, stopping all 11 shots faced. With this win, RIC improves their record to 7-1-0-1, and makes their league record 1-0.

Captain Dan Nadeau notched his 10th goal of the season, freshman Nico Drougas scored his second, and freshman Rob Reall scored his first while J.P. Caparco pocketed his 7th and 8th assists as RIC glided by Merrimack 3-1. Eric Moscarelli stopped 24 of 25 and held Merrimack scoreless until late in the third period, helping to improve RIC’s record to 6-1-0-1.

Mike Butler, Seth Tobias, Bo Atwell and Kyle Short all netted a goal and J.P. Caparco notched two assists as RIC stormed past RWU again 4-2. Eric Moscarelli stopped 40 of 42 while RIC improved their record to 5-1-0-1.

Despite Dan Nadeau’s two goals, Robert Isabella’s 3 point night (1G, 2A), and Nico Drougas‘ first RIC hockey goal, RIC fell victim to Norwich U. 5-4 in overtime for their second straight loss. Eric Moscarelli kept 39 of 43 shots out of the net in the valiant effort against Norwich.

Mike Butler scored in his old stomping grounds, but that combined with goals from J.P. Caparco and Robert Isabella wasn’t enough to beat New Haven and keep the winning streak going. Goaltender Eric Moscarelli stopped 30 of 37 in the 7-3 loss.
